<div class="api-provenance">Namespace Tracon · Assembly <code>Tracon.Abstractions.dll</code></div>

A comparison operator for a [ToolArgumentCondition](/api/tracon.toolargumentcondition/).

```csharp
[JsonConverter(typeof(JsonStringEnumConverter<ToolArgumentOperator>))]
public enum ToolArgumentOperator
```

## Fields

`Equals = 0`

The argument equals the value. Accepts text, number, or boolean.

`GreaterThan = 2`

The argument is greater than the value. Accepts a number only.

`GreaterThanOrEqual = 3`

The argument is greater than or equal to the value. Accepts a number only.

`In = 6`

The argument is a member of the value, a JSON array of text or numbers.

`LessThan = 4`

The argument is less than the value. Accepts a number only.

`LessThanOrEqual = 5`

The argument is less than or equal to the value. Accepts a number only.

`NotEquals = 1`

The argument does not equal the value. Accepts text, number, or boolean.

`NotIn = 7`

The argument is not a member of the value, a JSON array of text or numbers.

## Remarks

`Serialization.JsonStringEnumConverter` is required: ASP.NET Core's default JSON serialization writes an unmarked enum as a number, not the string a client (and this type's own HTTP contract, [ToolArgumentCondition](/api/tracon.toolargumentcondition/)) expects.
