Sse = 1

Server-sent events (SSE). For legacy servers.

StreamableHttp = 0

Streamable HTTP. MCP’s current remote transport.

Remarks

Stdio is deliberately absent. The stdio transport starts a process on the server; this means anyone with access to the admin UI runs a program on the server, which fundamentally breaks the code-only tools rule. Tracon connects only to remote MCP servers.
